Stockholders, creditors, and private investors often need assurance that the financial statements accurately represent the true financial position of a company.
Your stockholders, creditors, or private investors have different levels of risk tolerance, so there are three standard types of financial reports with three levels of assurance to meet your needs. Audits typically provide the highest level of assurance while Reviews provide the next lower level of assurance on your financial reports. Compilations provide the lowest level of assurance and are typically considered for "managements use".
We find that the majority of our clients are not in need of Audited or Reviewed financial statements so we've chosen to focus on services that our clients most commonly use. Troiano & Associates does not prepare Audited or Reviewed financial statements at this time, however; we do prepare Compilations. In fact, we prepare Compilations or Compiled financial statements in conjunction with almost all our business tax returns.
Please note that if your business is in need of Audited or Reviewed financial statements, we can work with the accounting firm that you choose to prepare these so we can make it as smooth and simple a process for you as possible.
